Síntiús na Scoile (Ní gá do dhaltaí BL4 e seo a íoc. Tá sé san áireamh i gcostas na hIdirbhliana)
Tabhair faoi ndeara led’ thoil go n-iarrtar ar gach scoláire síntiús na scoile a íoc faoin 27 Lúnasa. Caithfear é seo a dhéanamh ar líne. Seolfar nasc Way2Pay chugat ar théacs.
€70 an síntiús agus €50 do pháistí eile sa teaghlach. Téann an síntiús seo i dtreo costais a bhíonn ag an scoil maidir le:
Dialann Scoile: Tá sé riachtanach de réir “Rialacha na Scoile”.
Árachas a chlúdaíonn an scoláire d’imeachtaí scoile amháin.
Fón/Córas téacs: Seolfar téacs ó am go ham maidir le gnó tábhachtach scoile.
Páipéarachas agus Postas: Cóipeáil agus an páipéar cóipeála, páipéar líníochta, adhmad, ábhar ealaíne 7 rl.
Spórt/Comórtais/Cluichí: Costas cláraithe, trealamh 7rl.
Má tá aon deacracht leis an íocaíocht déan teagmháil le húdaráis na scoile, led’ thoil.
Scéim na Leabhar
Tá Scéim na Leabhar ar fáil do scoláirí uile na scoile. Tá na téacsleabhair ar fad, seachas na leabhair a athraíonn gach bliain (leabhar filíochta Béarla AT, an dráma Béarla, leabhar filíochta Gaeilge, araile) agus roinnt leabhar saothair, ar fáil tríd an scéim.
Acmhainní eile a bheidh ag teastáil
Beidh gnáth chóipleabhair, cóipleabhair le clúdach crua A4, fillteáin A4, fearas líníochta ag teastáil ó thús an téarma. Ba cheart áireamháin eolaíochta a fháil chomh maith (faigh comhairle ón múinteoir más gá). Bíonn Pacáiste Mata ar fáil do dhaltaí BL1 i Meán Fhómhair ar chostas €20.
Éide Scoile
Tá bileog faoi iamh le sonraí cruinn suas chun dáta.
Tar éis roinnt plé le Comhairle na nDaltaí aontaíodh go mbeadh Half-Zip Training Top scoile ar fáil i mbliana. Beidh sé seo le ordú tríd an scoil ag tús an téarma. Is feisteas roghnach é seo agus ní gá d’aon dalta é a cheannach.
Córas Iompar
Íocann an Roinn Oideachais agus Scileanna deontas do thuismitheoirí daltaí a thaistealaíonn níos mó ná 3.5km go dtí an stad bus is cóngaraí dóibh. Má cheapann tú go bhfuil tú i dteideal an deontais seo ní mór duit iarratas a dhéanamh ar an Roinn Oideachais. Caithfidh Ráiteas Tinrimh a bheith agat chun é seo a dhéanamh. Má tá Ráiteas Tinrimh ag teastáil uait déan teagmháil leis an scoil roimh 10 Iúil.
Má tá aon cheist agat faoi aon ní thuas déan teagmháil le hOifig na Scoile led’ thoil.

As you will appreciate, it is not at present possible to fully plan for return to school in late August and there is the possibility that some of these dates may change. We will be relying on the most up to date advice and guidance from the Government’s Public Health Advisers, however once this becomes clearer we will be updating our school website and social media platforms with any changes to the schedule as outlined here.

School Contribution (For BL4 students these costs are already covered within the TY Subscription fee)
Please note that this year all students are requested to have paid their School Contribution before the 27th August. All payments must be made online. You will be sent a unique Way2Pay link via text which you can pay at any stage between now and 28th August.
The School Contribution of €70 for the first child and €50 for subsequent children, covers costs incurred by the school in providing the following:
Student Diary: As required by the school behaviour code all students must have the school Student Diary. A specially prepared school diary will be available at the school on the first day of term.
Insurance:Personal Accident Insurance, covers school activities only.
Phone costs/Text service: We send reminders regarding urgent and important school business.
Stationery and Postage: Copy paper, copying costs, Drawing paper, wood, Art materials etc.
Sport/Competitions/Games: Entry fees, subscriptions, equipment, etc.
If you have any difficulty with meeting this request in its totality, please contact the school authorities.
School Book Rental Scheme
The School Book Rental Scheme is available to all students and covers all reusable textbooks. Books which change year on year (LC English Poetry, Shakespeare Play, LC Gaeilge Poetry, etc.), as well as some workbooks, are not available via the Book Rental Scheme and students will have to purchase their own book.
Other learning resources
Copybooks, A4 hardcover copies, A4 folders, drawing equipment, etc. should be purchased by the student before the start of term. All students are advised to ensure they have a suitable scientific calculator – if unsure seek advice from your mathematics/science teacher. Maths Packs including calculator for BL1 students will be available from the school in September – costing €20.
School Uniform
Enclosed are up to date instructions regarding the school uniform and how pupils should present themselves.
School Transport
The Department of Education and Skills pays a grant to parents of students who have to travel more than 3.5km to the nearest bus pick up point. If you think you are entitled to receive this grant you will have to apply to the Dept. of Education. You will need a statement of attendance from the school before you apply. If you require a statement of attendance, please contact the school before 10th July.
